Monitor inspection and observation report
Check a new or used monitor in a repeatable order, collect your observations in one place and export a text file or use your browser's print dialog to create a PDF.
Important limit: This output is not a laboratory measurement, automated diagnosis or manufacturer-issued warranty document. It is a structured record of your own visual observations.

How to use the report
- Keep conditions consistent. Use native resolution, normal brightness and, when possible, let the monitor warm up for 20–30 minutes.
- Judge each check separately. “Needs review” is not a failure verdict; it marks an observation that should be repeated with another browser, cable or source device.
- Describe what is repeatable. “Visible in the upper-left corner only on a black field” is more useful than a broad statement that the screen looks bad.
- Compare normal content. Record whether a small deviation in a pattern is also visible in games, films or text work.
- Check official product terms. Pixel and return policies vary by manufacturer, model, seller and country.
Where is the data stored?
Form information is not sent to our server. If you choose “Save draft on this device,” the data is written only to this browser's local storage. “Clear form and saved draft” removes that record. Text export and PDF printing are also performed by your browser.
If you photograph a symptom
Automatic camera exposure can greatly exaggerate backlight glow on a dark screen. Disable night mode, set exposure close to what you see and record the monitor brightness and room lighting. Treat the image as supporting evidence of location, not an absolute brightness measurement.
