Automatic display check and results
Check browser-reported screen information and ten seconds of animation timing. Results are generated on your device.
What happens after you start?
- The browser-reported screen area, viewport size, device pixel ratio and colour depth will be read. These are not physical panel measurements.
- After about one second of preparation, browser animation timing will be sampled for ten seconds. No test colours, flashing images or full-screen patterns will be shown.
- Frame intervals, long intervals and sample count will be calculated. Estimated Hz appears only under suitable conditions; irregular timing or sparse samples will not produce a reliable Hz estimate.
- The result list is generated on this device. This tool does not send measurement values to a server. You can download the text report or print it.
Keep this tab in front and the window visible. Do not resize, change zoom or move to another display. Hiding the tab or resizing stops the measurement. You can use Cancel at any time.
Not included: dead/stuck pixels, IPS glow, backlight bleed, OLED image retention, panel uniformity, ghosting, tearing, gamma, colour accuracy or real input lag. These need human observation or suitable instruments.

Cycle black, white, red, green and blue. Look for a fixed dark or bright point and rule out dirt or content.
IPS Glow / Light Bleed
Start at normal brightness. Inspect black corners, then change angle. A dark-room photo alone cannot diagnose a panel fault.
UFO Ghosting & Overdrive
Observe the smearing trails completely behind the moving objects.
Screen Tearing (V-Sync)
Watch the rapidly moving vertical line for jagged horizontal breaks.
OLED Burn-in & Retention
Look closely for faint taskbar or UI element ghosting on gray/red backgrounds.
Panel Uniformity / Dirty Screen
Check if all corners and edges are equally bright without dirty spots.
Stuck Pixel Fixer Tool
Flashing content; do not use if light-sensitive. No repair guarantee or automatic pixel detection. Read the safety warning first.
Gamma Calibration (2.2)
Squint slightly to see where the squares blend evenly with the stripes.
Black Saturation (Black Crush)
You should barely distinguish the dark squares 0-10 from the background.
White Saturation (Blooming)
You should barely distinguish the bright squares 245-254 from the background.
Color Banding (8-Bit / 10-Bit)
Ensure gradient transitions are smooth and not displaying hard steps/bands.
Color Distance / Contrast Ratio
Can you distinguish the slightly different colored inner boxes from the background?
Response Time / Input Lag Demo
Press Space or tap and observe the colour change. This interaction demo does not measure real total input lag in milliseconds.
Viewing Angle Washout (TN/VA/IPS)
Look from extreme left, right, and top limits. Does the image wash out?
Sub-Pixel Rendering & Text Clarity
Check the smallest font sizes for blurry or colored anti-aliasing artifacts.
Pixel Inversion / Moire Flicker
Check for distinct line flickers or inversion artifacts inside the patterns.
