Automatic display check and results

Updated ·

Check browser-reported screen information and ten seconds of animation timing. Results are generated on your device.

What happens after you start?

  1. The browser-reported screen area, viewport size, device pixel ratio and colour depth will be read. These are not physical panel measurements.
  2. After about one second of preparation, browser animation timing will be sampled for ten seconds. No test colours, flashing images or full-screen patterns will be shown.
  3. Frame intervals, long intervals and sample count will be calculated. Estimated Hz appears only under suitable conditions; irregular timing or sparse samples will not produce a reliable Hz estimate.
  4. The result list is generated on this device. This tool does not send measurement values to a server. You can download the text report or print it.

Keep this tab in front and the window visible. Do not resize, change zoom or move to another display. Hiding the tab or resizing stops the measurement. You can use Cancel at any time.

Not included: dead/stuck pixels, IPS glow, backlight bleed, OLED image retention, panel uniformity, ghosting, tearing, gamma, colour accuracy or real input lag. These need human observation or suitable instruments.

How to interpret the result

This report does not certify a healthy monitor. Reported colour depth is not native panel bit depth; screen area is not guaranteed native resolution. A long frame interval does not diagnose physical frame skipping.
